CDP Scores and Sustainalytics Recognition

In 2024, O-I maintained B scores in both Climate Change and Water Security categories through CDP, which runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system.

Additionally, Sustainalytics, a leading ESG research, ratings, and data firm, recognized O-I as a strong performer in managing ESG risks with a “low risk” score.

These recognitions underscore O-I’s effective management of ESG risks and its dedication to sustainable business practices. The ratings also reinforce our position as a responsible and forward-thinking leader in glass packaging.

The sustainability reporting landscape has seen substantial changes, including increased scrutiny on accuracy and completeness due to impending regulatory ESG reporting requirements.

O-I has been proactive in addressing these challenges by systematically standardizing ESG data, benchmarking key topics, and improving performance across its 68 plants in 19 countries, with 21,000 employees.
